Description
This versatile little seamless sweater was adapted from Katherine Johnson’s Martinmas Sweater pattern.* The sleeves are just little cap sleeves, nice as a light cover-up, or for use as a layer over long sleeves. A beautiful leaf pattern is knitted into the front panels. It closes with three perfectly coordinating buttons, which I found at an antique shop.
I fell in love with the yarn, both for its color and texture. The composition is 50% merino wool, 25% acrylic, and 25% nylon. It is beautifully springy, very soft, and the drape is lovely. It shows the lace pattern off to perfection. See below for dimensions and garment care. I am listing it as size 6 months, but it should fit up to 9 months.
Dimensions:
- Front neck to hem: 10 inches
- Back neck to hem: 11 1/2 inches
- Circumference under arms: 21 inches
Care: Turn inside out; machine wash cold, gentle cycle with like colors; lay flat to dry. No bleach, no iron. Do not wring out or hang when wet.
