Description
Cozy House Curios is the home of the original crocheted toy censer! By popular request I now also offer it with detachable bells. This unique item is hand-crocheted and both durable and child-friendly. Gold-colored yarn is crocheted around foam hemispheres to hold the shape. The “chains” are crocheted and have minimal stretch. They come together at the top to form a loop convenient for hanging.
Six gold rings are stitched in place at regular intervals. Six bells are attached to the rings with lobster claw clasps and may be removed as desired. The censer is constructed such that a one-inch space exists between the top and bottom halves. This allows the felted “charcoal” (made from black wool) to be inserted or removed.
While this item is well-made, as with any toy it will eventually show wear. Be watchful for bells or rings that are becoming loose and either remove them or reinforce the stitching.
Dimensions: 13 inches fully-extended, 3 1/2 inches across at widest point.
I try to keep a few censers in stock, but they may be made-to-order if they sell faster than I can make them. Orders can usually be filled in a few days unless you have ordered a large number of censers.

Excellent craftsmanship, just as pictured! What a treasure to have a crocheted, handmade liturgical play toy for our children to use.
